Expedition to Charavne Waterfalls

GTDC’s Monsoon Trekking Expedition to Charavne Waterfalls  on 29th July 2018

This Sunday the Monsoon Trekking Expedition by Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) will be conducted at Charavne Falls which is one of the many major attractions in Sattari Taluka.

This trek at Charavne Falls will cover a total stretch of 8 kms surrounded with scenic  landscapes.

The different levels of the waterfall  adds to the beauty of the place.

This Sunday’s trek promises to be adventurous. One can admire the forestry,  flowing streams,  flora, fauna and experience nature at its best. The trek comprises of a steep climb at certain places and slippery rocks dominate the terrain. The trekking expedition is open to all especially those with a spirit for adventure and nature lovers.

Transport arrangements have been made from Margao & Mapusa Residency at 7.30 a.m. and Paryatan Bhavan, Patto at 8.30 a.m. On the way pick up arrangements are available at Birla junction -Verna, Cortalim, Porvorim, Banasthari & Honda.

Registration fee is Rs 800:(food inclusive). Lunch will be provided.

Interested trekkers are requested to carry along an extra pair of clothes, rainwear, trekking shoes, snacks and binoculars.  Smoking and  consumption of alcohol will not be permitted. The expedition  is not recommended  for  those who are  physically unfit.
